Glashütte Original blickt zurück auf die Berlinale 2013

Seit der 61. Berlinale im Jahr 2011 ist Glashütte Original Co-Partner der Internationalen Filmfestspiele Berlin.
Als die 63. Internationalen Filmfestspiele Berlin am 17. Februar 2013 beendet wurden, konnte die Manufaktur Glashütte Original auf zehn ereignisreiche und gelungene Tage zurückblicken.
Wie schon in den vorangegangenen Jahren erwies sich die Glashütte Original Lounge im 24. Stock des Kollhoff Towers am Potsdamer Platz als beliebter Treffpunkt für Schauspieler, Regisseure, Produzenten und Journalisten aus aller Welt, die sich hier für Fachgespräche, Interviews und Empfänge trafen.

In diesem Jahr gehörten u.a. Til Schweiger und Shia LaBeouf zu den Gästen von Glashütte Original. Weitere prominente Besucher der Lounge waren die deutsche Schauspielerin Suzanne von Borsody und ihre Filmkollegen des Streifens „DeAD“ sowie der Ex-Frontsänger der Band R.E.M., Michael Stipe. Das Filmstudio Babelsberg sowie die Deutsche Kinemathek nutzten ebenfalls die ansprechende Atmosphäre der Glashütte Original Lounge, um ihre Gäste stilvoll zu empfangen.

 Ausgehend von der erfolgreichen Zusammenarbeit und des positiven Echos aller Beteiligten wurde die Kooperation mit der Berlinale um weitere 3 Jahre bis 2016 verlängert.

Im Rahmen der Berlinale lud Glashütte Original am 11. Februar zu einer glamourösen Abendveranstaltung in das Berliner Direktorenhaus ein.
Diese Veranstaltung stand unter dem Motto „Celebrating Women“.
Yann Gamard, Geschäftsführer der Manufaktur, begrüßte die Gäste zu einer exklusiven Vorschau der Kollektion „Pavonina“.

Zwanzig neue Damenmodelle wurden hier in einer eigens inszenierten Ausstellung zu Ehren der Frau präsentiert.

Später am Abend trafen im Direktorenhaus weitere Gäste, Stars und Schauspielerinnen ein, die der Einladung von Glashütte Original gefolgt waren. Iris Berben, Natalia Wörner und Katarina Witt erschienen mit einem – passend zur eleganten Garderobe – gewählten Modell der neuen Kollektion am Handgelenk.

Glashütte Original looks back with pride on the Berlinale 2013

Since the 61st Berlinale in 2011, Glashütte Original is a co-partner of the International Film Festival in Berlin.
As the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival came to a close February 17th, 2013, Glashütte Original looked back with pride on ten eventful and successful days. As in previous years, the Glashütte Original Lounge on the 24th floor of the Kollhoff Tower at Potsdamer Platz proved a popular meeting place for actors, directors, producers and journalists from around the world who met in the Lounge for discussions about filmmaking, interviews and receptions.

Among the guests of Glashütte Original this year were Til Schweiger and Shia LaBeouf; together with their film crew they gathered for a warm-up in the Lounge prior to the premiere of “The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman“. Also seen at the Lounge were the renowned German actress Suzanne von Borsody and her colleagues from the film “DeAD”, as well as the former lead singer of R.E.M., Michael Stipe. The Babelsberg Film Studio and the Deutsche Kinemathek also took the opportunity to welcome their guests in style to the luxurious ambience of the Glashütte Original Lounge.

Based on the successful collaboration and the positive response of all stakeholders, the cooperation with the Berlinale has been extended for another 3 years to 2016.

Glashütte Original invited selected guests to a glamorous evening event, “Celebrating Women”, held February 11th at Berlin’s “Director’s House” (Direktorenhaus). Managing Director Yann Gamard welcomed guests to an exclusive preview of the “Pavonina” collection.

Twenty new ladies watches were presented in a special exhibition in honour of women.

Seen later that evening at the Direktorenhaus were more guests, stars and  actresses who had accepted invitations from Glashütte Original. Iris Berben, Natalia Wörner and Katarina Witt appeared wearing selected models from the new collection, chosen to complement their elegant attire. They were given a guided tour through the exhibition by the hosts and enjoyed close-up looks at the  twenty models in the new collection.
