Handelszeitung CH Teil 2For a long time rumors have persisted that the electronics and computer giant Apple – as many others  too – is working on a SmartWatch. The press gave the not yet officially confirmed product already the name iWatch.
Whether it will come or not will come, still nobody knows. Good for the publicity anyway – no matter when or if this product will ever appear.

But now everything is a stage more concrete. In the current online edition of the Swiss Handelsmagazin is reported that Apple – probably approaching with the aim of a co-operation – is talking to Swiss luxury watch manufacturers. Apple would thus probably help to launch a clock with the prefered label „Swiss Made“ on the market.

However, the response is predominantly negative. But we assume that the gentlemen from California will not reduce their effort to catch the target.

In case of doubt, the Californians can simply buy a swiss manufacturer, if they want to pursue the goal of building a high-quality ‚Swiss Made‘ SmartWatch. From the petty cash of course.

And then all those who do not not want to discuss the issue right now are on the downside of the hill.

Maybe that could be an option for the German watchmakers.
