Die ARISTO VOLLMER GmbH ist auf dem 19. Innovationstag in Berlin vertreten

Konjunkturpaket 2 – allergiefrei, sportlich, modebewusst

ARISTO VOLLMER to be present on the 19th Innovation Day in Berlin

Stimulus 2 – Non-allergenic, sporty and fashionable

For the 14/06/2012, the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs selected companies and research institutions invited to join the „19th Innovation Day “ in Berlin. One of the guests is Hansjoerg Vollmer, Managing Director of Aristo Vollmer GmbH, watches and wrist-factory in Pforzheim. The company developed a entirely new product line made from a material thats quite new in the watch industry: Carbon. Most parts of the watch case and the bracelet are made from this innovative and useful material.

„Carbon was used in the automotive and aironautic industries for years as a material of the future,“ says Vollmer. „In the year 2009 the economic stimulus package encouraged the medium-sized industry to develop technical innovations that have a reliable chance on the worldwide markets. My staff and I decided immediately that we want to apply to the Federal Minister of Economics for funding the development of a Carbon-Watch.“

In spring 2012, Vollmer was on the international watch and jewelry fair in Basel, presenting the result of economic development: the wristwatch prototype made from Carbon with a newly developed bracelet. „Most of the compliments our Carbon-Watch has been given for their distinctive sporty design.“ However for Vollmer the more intrinsic values are an important fact. „Carbon materials are non-allergenic and can be processed in his factory. This makes them the ideal material for watches and jewelry.“

The Aristo Vollmer GmbH is one of 300 companies and research institutions that are present on 14.06.2012 at the Innovation Day in Berlin presenting more than 200 new products, processes and services.
